Pursuing a career in art has taken
Russell Bonin a long way from his home in Nova Scotia, Canada.
After completing studies at the Nova Scotia College of Art and
Design, Russell researched, designed, and constructed many
traveling exhibits for the Nova Scotia Museum System while
privately exploring his passion for oil painting.
A love of landscape and “on location” painting has
brought this artist to more southerly climates. For the past six
years, Russ has been painting and exhibiting watercolor and oil in
the Southeastern United States.
