“Stoney” is a 5th
generation Wyoming native who received his BFA from the University
of Wyoming in 1998. Stoney is the Chief Preparator at the
Wyoming Museum of Art.
The pottery, created in
a solar-powered studio on his family’s ranch, consists of
primarily wheel- thrown and altered, high fire glazed stoneware
and porcelain forms with a rustic finish. His inspiration is the
beautiful landscape of Wyoming.
