Julie has been a metal worker
for ten years. She received her BFA in sculpture from Georgia
Southern University. Julie is currently teaching and working at
the Sloss Historic Site in Birmingham. She has won numerous
awards. Julie’s inspiration comes from the environment at
Sloss and believes strongly in the preservation of the art of
cast iron.
