Henry is a North Augusta,
South Carolina native and completed his BFA at Augusta State
University in 1974. He has been a US Army Illustrator since 1977
and an Archeological Illustrator for the University of Georgia.
He is the recipient of numerous art awards.
He offers signed limited edition prints of
selected works and an occasional offering of original work.
Henry Wynn is a finger-style guitar musician and
vintage guitar collector as well as visual artist. Although
accomplished in various styles, his favorite is stipple
pointillism. This is executed using a 6x0 rapidograph technical
fountain pen and lighted magnifying glass. With a very steady
hand, Henry textures extremely fine dots on the illustration board
to create the shading and intricate compositions of each piece.
